Three incidents caused Corby A6003 chaos
It was a busy evening on the A6003 with many frustrated commuters caught up in heavy traffic on their way home from work.
Police were first called when a car hit a lamp-post near the Shell Garage at about 5.20pm, leaving a person with minor injuries.

Hide AdA force spokesman said another crash, which again left those involved with minor injuries, then took place at about 5.45pm near the Beefeater roundabout. It involved a Vauxhall Combo and Vauxhall Insignia and left the road closed for about two hours.
And traffic was further compounded at the same time when a car's battery went flat further down the road.
