Hunt for owner after man bitten by dog in Finedon

Police are appealing for a dog walker to contact them after a man was bitten by a dog as he walked in a field next to Wellingborough Road in Finedon.
The incident took place between 5pm and 5.15pm on Wednesday, April 7, as the man in his 20s was out walking with his partner when three black and white Collies, off their leads, approached them.

Hide AdA spokesman for Northants Police said: "One of the dogs started barking aggressively and bit the man on the back of his thigh, causing two small puncture marks.
"The owner retrieved the dogs and walked away.
"The dog walker is described as a white woman and in her 50s, between 5ft 6 and 8in, and of a slim build.
"She had four black and white Collie dogs – one on a lead and three off the lead."
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for the dog walker or anyone who may recognise her or the dogs' description, to get in touch.
